Tourism Club - - "VIAGGIO"
With an intension to promote tourism in the state of Kerala, Government of Kerala proposed that colleges should form tourism clubs in the respective institutions. As per the recommendation, a tourism club was formed in V V College in the year 2019. The club has name as Exploriana.
VISION
The Tourism Club of our college is formed with an objective of creating awareness among the students about tourism activities and to incorporate the students strength and potential in the development of tourism in our state.
MISSION
To promote nature appreciation, outdoor activities, conversation, friendship and understanding.
ACTIVITIES
Every year as part of the world tourism day celebrations the club conduct various competitions like Essay Writing, Logo Designing, My Shot, Quiz, Painting and Poster Designing. Apart from the competitions the club organizes Orientation Programs, Field Visit to an unknown destination for a day and Seminar sections by eminent persons from Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Tourism Club has help to cultivate a right attitude towards tourism among students. Since it is a field of immense job opportunities students are genuinely interested to participate in the activities of the Tourism club.
