The Department of Electronics was started in the year 2009 with under graduation Course. Our first batch got passed out in the year 2012.The program has a unique aspect in the sense that students spend their final semester in industry and R&D Organisations. The Electronics department at VV College prepares students for careers in this constantly evolving discipline. The department has excellent Laboratory facilities with modern computing environment. The management has been generous in expanding the facilities and expertise to import training to the students. We are also conducting National Level Seminars to enrich the technical knowledge of students. Also we are having a club (Radiance) to enhance the talent of the students.In-house training facilities for final year UG students enhances the possibilities in Campus Recruitment. The location college is near the industrial area of Kanjikode which gives our students plenty of opportunity for Industrial visits and training.

OBJECTIVES

• To prepare graduates with sound foundation in fundamentals of basic sciences & to assist them exhibit strong ,independent learning ,analytical & problem solving skills in electronics and communication.
• To train students to effectively use modern equipment and programming tools to solve real life multi-disciplinary problems that are technically sound,economically feasible & socially acceptable.
• To assist & enable individuals acquire skills to imbibe lifelong learning in the field of Electronics and communication related research & innovation so as to have progressive careers.
• To inculcate professional and ethical attitude,team spirit,leadership qualities and effective communication skills in graduates and to make them aware of social responsibilities.
