IQAC 2018

Minutes of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) meeting held on Wednesday, 13th June 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Committee room.
The following members were present:

1. Dr. V.K.Sudhakaran ( Principal)
2. Dr. Ramachandran (PRO)
3. Ms. Girija Prasad (Assistant Professor, Department of English)
4. Ms. Surabila (Assisstant Professor, PG Department of Computer Science)
5. Ms. Praseeja (Assisstant Professor, Department of Mathematics)
6. Ms. Indira (Assisstant Professor, Department of Commerce)
7. Ms. Swapna (Assisstant Professor, PG Department of Commerce)
8. Ms. Lalitha (Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics)
9. Ms. Shamna, (Assisstant Professor, Department of Geography)
10. Mr.Sasikumar (Administrative and Accounts Officer)
11. Ms. Ajitha (Assisstant Administrative and Accounts Officer)
The IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Nisha.K.G welcomed the members and listed those resolutions in the previous meeting which was passed by the College Council.
Then proposed following

AGENDA
1. Academic calendar preparation
2. Plan of Industrial Visit
3. Introduction of pre-admission test for students of management seats
4. Preparation of Bridge course syllabus by all Departments
5. Review of Departmental and Karunya Club Activities

RESOLUTION
1. Decided to prepare the Academic calendar of this year in a week
2. Decided to send the Proposal of Industrial Visit to Palakkad Industry center
3. Decided to prepare question paper for Pre-admission test
4. Decided to prepare bridge courses and planned to implement in September
5. The reports submitted by the Karunya Club co-coordinators and departmental activity report analysed

The resolutions are sent to College Council for final approval.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks.

4. Review of Departmental and Karunya Club Activities by Joint IQAC Co-coordinators Asst.Professor Praseeja and Asst.Professor Swapna

RESOLUTION
1. A new Canteen Committee was formed to ensure the quality canteen facilities
2. Decided to fix the health club co-ordinator as in charge of conducting eye camp, blood donation camp and yoga class yearly
3. all departments were suggested to conduct peer group class, group project and assignment to equip advanced and slow learners in their selected academic sessions.
4. The reports submitted by the Karunya Club co-coordinators and departmental activity report analysedby Joint IQAC Co-coordinators

The resolutions are sent to College Council for final approval.

RESOLUTION
1. A new Napkin vending machine to ensure the hygiene girls washroom facilities
2. Decided to fix the nature club co-ordinator as in charge of conducting plastic free campus
3. Book clubwas suggested to conduct interpersonal skill development programmes to improve the communication.
4. Decided to fix NSS Programme officer to prepare report on Flood Relief Activities by College
5. The reports submitted by the Karunya Club co-coordinators and departmental activity report analysed by Joint IQAC Co-coordinators
